To Mar [ IV ] is a short poem I wrote about about my/our/your neighborhood. The perspectives on how you or I may view things from a different light. Inspired by Langston Hughes's poem Monotony - "Today like yesterday, Tomorrow like today; The drip, drip, drip, Of monotony, Is wearing my life away; Today like yesterday, Tomorrow like today."
This piece is part of our capsule "Out of many, one people" c 2020.
